Date of publication: 2017-09-01 21:14

Think about the tenses of your verbs. If you 8767 re writing about something that happened in the past, your verbs will need to be in the past tenses. If you 8767 re arranging something in the future, you will need to use the future tenses. If it 8767 s a habitual action, you 8767 ll need the present simple tense and so on. If you have time, a quick check of your verbs at the end of the exam can help you find errors.

This was my second attempt and I failed to secure 7 in writing module again! I found your materials to be the most detailed and helpful one available in the internet. I thought that I did much better the second time around in writing section and I was expecting at least a 7 this time 🙁. It is mandatory for me to secure 7 in each band and 7. 5 overall to pursue my career further. I feel like I 8767 m ready every time I attempt the test, which to my surprise, I clearly am not. It is very depressing to be honest. What do I do next? Please help!
Thank you very much for helping us through this difficult journey. God bless you!

IELTS Speaking Part 2: describe a place - ielts

Hey Liz,
Hope you 8767 re doing well. I just wanted to tell you that I got band score overall. I just watched all your videos in 65 days only and did a few practice tests. Thank you so much. You were a GREAT help. I got 8 in listening and reading whereas 7 in writing and speaking. And that 8767 s just because of you. Thank you so much ❀

Thank you very much for your helpful hints and appreciable and dedicated a candidate who took nearly 65 exams, I confess that I owe too much to you. This is a very simple way to say thank you.

Thank you very much for your very helpful resources. I thought I would not get a 7 for I had doubts on my lexical resource. But as you said in your videos, it 8767 s how you form your structures and link them to form strong clauses. Thank you!! 🙂

For the Reading, one tricky question had particularly come to my attention. It was a classic question of which students are asked to match the content sentences with the paragraphs A to G. The number of sentences was the same with the paragraph 8767 s. I spent quite a lot of time there as one of the paragraph contained two content sentences while one paragraph had none. I think it was quite struggling as people normally consider one answer for one paragraph. My advice would be if you have ever encountered this type of question, stay calm and make sure you read all the content sentence before moving on, rather than to match all sentences and paragraphs you understood and allocate the remaining answers blindly.

Hi ma 8767 am, my score is L-7, R-, W-, S- overall- I cordially thank you, because your lessons helped me to secure this score which I need
Thank You..

But remember, the examiner doesn 8767 t care about your opinions. He or she wants to know if you can respond in English to unfamiliar questions, that 8767 s all. Read the three hints below before you attempt to answer the questions.

Hi Simon,
The topic asks about describing a place that you have studied or worked.
I will talk about a building that I used to work. But what tense should I use? It s in the past but the building still is there.
For example:
-The building is surrounded by small gardens and a boulevard. (is or was?)
-This office is the headquarter of the company (is or was?)
- My company provides mobile services nationwide. (provides or provided)
I talk about the past but all above ideas are still true.
Please help.

Finally, there are no correct answers or methods. Here I 8767 ve given you some ideas to guide you and hopefully to help you but the questions can be answered well in different ways.
