After taking one of these NVQs, you will have a qualification that shows employers and customers you have the skills to work in a range of jobs such as hotel receptionist, chef, bar tender and waiter/waitress.
They learned about the importance of maths in the workplace, creating their own pizzas and costing them up, taking orders and working out the bill. They then went on to make mocktails again embedding numeracy into their lesson. Afterwards, they sat down in Open Kitchen and enjoyed their own homemade pizzas!
Our courses run from Level 6 through to Level 8. You can choose to study part or full time – or you could become an Apprentice. We also offer work-based learning – so our assessors can come to you and assess you while you work. The options for achieving a qualification are vast!
